CDM BUSINESS

1. CDM BUSINESS MODEL IN DRINKING WATER FIELD

GATC is a CDM operator in the drinking water field approved by the UNFCCC and the Bangladesh government.
The CDM business in the drinking water field enables a sustainable supply of drinking water and
it is a business model that provides stable profits to organizations and companies as well.

2. COMPOSITION OF CDM PROJECT IN DRINKING WATER FIELD

GATC's CDM* project is a program project (PoA*) developed under the national policy goal or system for the entire region in Bangladesh, and unit projects (CPA*) can be added without any restrictions during the total project period of 28 years. Domestic investment institutions can secure carbon credits equal to their investment shares, and the business period is 10 years.

3. TYPES OF CDM PROJECTS DIRECTLY IMPLEMENTED BY DOMESTC COMPANIES, ETC.

GATC's CDM project in drinking water field is a "A" type business with 100% ownership of the facility to GATC.

A

In case of domestic company, etc. participates the Greenhouse gas reduction project directly as main business entity (20% of share or more)

B

In case of domestic company, etc. participates as a shareholder of a business entity in the Greenhouse gas reduction project (20% of share or more)

C

In case of domestic company, etc. provides or sells Greenhouse gas reduction products or technologies to unidentified end users who are the main business entity of reduction business (20% or more of the accumulated project cost)

D

When domestic company, etc. jointly support the cost of a Greenhouse gas reduction project in the poorest nations, with Government, local governments, or foreign(domestic) government or local government
